My Friend Is Married!
I just wanted to say that I had SO much fun at the wedding.
The bride looked absolutely amazing. The gown was ivory and although it was a rental, it matched her veil perfectly and her veil was the same one that her mom wore at her own wedding in the early 1980s.
She was laughing throughout the ceremony, which was really funny, but every time the groom looked at her, he started laughing, which just made the whole situation even funnier.
And the groom could not stop smiling. Every time he looked at her, his face just glowed with happiness.
The dancing was super fun, I was seated with people I hadn’t seen in like 7-8 years, and I got to spent time chatting with old friends.
It really was one of the best weddings I’ve ever been to.
There was one little upset - it was the groom’s birthday and the bride ordered him a mini cake, but whoever was supposed to deliver it to the caterer dropped the ball and it never showed up. =/
Otherwise, it was an absolutely beautiful event. :)
