Oh dear…
We’re having 8 people for lunch tomorrow, so I made an awesome spaghetti sauce/primavera. It’s like, seriously amazing. SO GOOD.
And then I made the pasta. Slightly overcooked. Urgh.
I put the hot water up for the pasta and was going to wash the dishes that were in the sink to get them out of the way so I could drain the pasta when it was ready. And then my sister got in the shower.
Our house has incredibly bad water pressure and if someone’s in the shower, you can’t run water anywhere else in the house.
When the water started boiling, I put the pasta in, figuring she’d be out of the shower by then.
Just before the pasta was done cooking, she came down and started the dishes, which meant I couldn’t drain the pasta when it was ready, because she and her dishes were in the way.
So now we’ll have the most amazing pasta sauce, with the least amazing pasta.
It’s actually kinda funny - I can make food from scratch that tastes like it belongs in a restaurant, but when it comes to something in a box…. XD
